1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing to shop with Tropiki. These Terms of Sale govern your purchase from our online store. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

We are a Norwegian company operating under Norwegian law. Our terms are designed to be fair and transparent, offering you the strong consumer protections you are entitled to.

2. The Agreement

The purchase agreement is binding once we have sent you an order confirmation via email. This confirmation will contain all relevant details of your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of typographical errors, incorrect pricing information, or if the product is out of stock. If we cancel your order, you will be notified immediately and any payment will be fully refunded.

3. Prices, Fees, and Payment

  • Prices: All prices are listed in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) and include Norwegian VAT (MVA). Prices are subject to change until the order is confirmed.
  • Additional Fees: Any applicable shipping and handling fees will be clearly displayed before you finalize your order.
  • Payment Methods: We offer secure payment through trusted providers such as Vipps, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. Your payment is processed securely, and we do not store your full payment card details.

4. Delivery

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
  • Delivery Methods & Times: We partner with reliable carriers like Posten/Bring. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout. Please note that these are estimates and not guaranteed, especially during peak seasons or due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Delivery Areas: We currently deliver to addresses within Norway. For international shipping inquiries, please contact us.
  • Risk & Ownership: The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery. Ownership of the products transfers to you once we have received full payment.

5. Your Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

As a consumer in Norway, you have an unconditional 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the goods.

  • To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by using our Withdrawal Form or by sending a clear statement to our customer service email.
  • You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
  • The goods must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.
  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the product is faulty or we have agreed otherwise.

We will refund all payments, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back.

Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, such as sealed audio/video recordings or software that have been opened, or products made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Complaints

We want you to be completely satisfied.

  • Faulty or Damaged Goods: If you receive a faulty or damaged product, you have the right to a free repair, replacement, price reduction, or full refund under the Norwegian Purchase Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven). Please contact us immediately.
  • Non-Faulty Returns (Outside Angrerett): We happily accept returns for store credit or exchange for non-faulty items, provided they are returned in a saleable condition within 30 days of delivery. In this case, you bear the return shipping cost.

7. Warranty

All products are covered by a statutory 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, in accordance with Norwegian law. The warranty covers faults that existed at the time of delivery.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, labour disputes, supplier failures, or severe weather conditions.

9. Privacy

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms and any disputes arising from your purchase shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact us directly so we can find an amicable solution. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) or file a complaint with the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform.
